Getting to Evolène

Le Rucher d’Evolène is located in the southwest of Switzerland, close to the border of Italy and within the Matterhorn’s sightline. High atop the mountains, we are quietly tucked away from the world—but surprisingly easy to get to.

Parking

If you’re coming by car, there is a car park conveniently located at the entrance to Evolène from Sion. Parking is CHF 8.00 / day.

Private transfer

If you’re arriving by train or plane, we can arrange an airport or station transfer. Let us know and we’ll be waiting.

Check-in/out

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is a 11am. Arriving earlier or leaving late? We’ll try our best to accommodate you.

Payment options

Most places in Evolène accept card payments. There are a few exceptions so bring Swiss Francs just in case.

Our chalets and hotel come with ski storage rooms so your equipment stays safe and dry.

A living village

Evolène is still a working village. Respect tradition and locals so please limit photography.

Wi-Fi

Network in the region can be spotty but we offer complimentary Wi-Fi so you can stay connected even when remote.

Carnival

Carnival takes place between February and March. It’s a lot of fun! But if it gets too loud, please contact our concierge for ear plugs. Things usually quiet down around 22:00.
